Music Director Danielle Lebeau Petersen
Danielle Lebeau Petersen harkens from a long tradition of music, beginning with her biological family. Both Danielle's parents are professional musicians (Connie Lebeau and Niels Petersen) and, along with her brother, Chris, continue to perform together regularly at Pagliacci's restaurant. As well as this, you can currently find her performing at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
After partaking in the Vic High R&B Band as a student, she then spent time living and performing in Montreal, exploring not only her French Canadian roots, but also her curiosity for the arts in Quebec. Upon moving back to Victoria, Danielle spent two years completing a diploma in Jazz studies from Camosun College, and following this, was the vocal teacher from the Vic High R&B Band as well as the musical director of 'Super Soul Sister' a choreographed women's R&B community choir. She has been an artist in Residence in Nashville at the Scarrett Bennett Centre, and has spent two years performing at sea with Seabourn Cruise lines. Now having been back in Victoria for a few years, she is very excited and grateful to begin a new chapter as the Music Director of the Centre of Spiritual Living.

Celebration Service: 11:00 am
Come and join us for an inspiring and uplifting Sunday celebration! We meet at 11 a.m. and you'll discover a whole new way to experience your own spiritual self.
If you are worried about church services being staid and traditional, that's not what you'll find here. Messages are positive and uplifting. (We don't DO guilt)!!
Rev. Carrie and her team are heart-inspired people, and they aren't like ministers you may remember from your youth. They embrace life, celebrate it and love to laugh and enjoy themselves.
We are so happy to have Danielle Lebeau Petersen leading our Sunday Music. Danielle is our "house musician". She sings, plays guitar and other instruments.
You'll hear inspiring messages about your own potential and will learn clear and practical ways to live a spiritual life with integrity, compassion and joy.
You'll meet people of like mind who come together with open hearts and minds.
The real reason to celebrate with us is this: the dream you once had of a universe being a safe and loving place to be – of people who know how to get along and do it – of a life lived with passion and wonder and joy – is not just a dream. We're creating here every day. Come and see for yourself!
Indigo Kids and Teens
Kids and Teens have a natural affinity for spirituality. If they are encouraged to develop spiritual awareness when they are young, they gain a trust in life and a sense of self that serves them all their lives.
If you have young people looking for a spiritual path, contact Rev. Carrie about youth programs.
